Typeset

Rose Box

Today’s project is a vintage inspired gift box and tag. I’m in love with the new Designer Series Paper called “Typeset.” It it lightweight and imitates the pages of an old book perfectly. My brain is overflowing with projects for this beautiful paper! I even used it for filler in the box- see it peeking through? For the tag, I used the Spiral flower die for the rose and I antiqued the doily with a sponge dauber and crumb cake ink. The greenery was created with the flower frenzy bigz die. Vintage faceted buttons add a bit of sparkle. The to/from stamp is from the holiday carryover and will only be available until August 27th. Here is a closeup:

  1. So beautiful! This really takes me back. Mom & Dad bought us (my siblings & me)an old type writer to type on. You had to have a lot of strength in you fingers to push the keys down. But we thought it was great!
