I have a dear friend who never forgets to send me a card for every holiday. Sadly I, on the other hand, often forget holidays like Halloween or St. Patrick’s Day. Her cards mean so much to me that I wanted to be ready this year with the perfect handmade Halloween card.
My inspiration for the layout came from a sketch over at another one of my favorite blogs, Freshly Made Sketches. Here is the lovely sketch:
It’s always nice to do a little something special on the inside, too:
When I think about my friend, and how she always remembers to send a card on holidays, I feel inspired to be just like her. There’s just something about finding a greeting card in the mailbox that makes not only my day, but my whole week! Whose week will you make today?
Happy stampin’ friends!

Your card certainly stands out in the gallery this week and just makes one want to see more! I love the details of this card. The 3-D pumpkins, the curly paper, the embossed background. So much wonderful texture and dimension. A card lovers dream! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
Thanks, Cindy! That means so much to me.
How fun is this card? I love the 3D effect on this and the way you curled that green paper strip. Fabulous design!!
Thanks, Nora! It was so much fun curling the paper strips to look like little vines.
Sooooo cute!
Thanks- your support means the world to me!
