November Crafting with the Big Shot

give thanks with a grateful heart

Today was so busy, I didn’t get the post done with directions for making a 4 inch square box with a window pane lid like I promised- sorry! I’ll try to get to that ASAP. I did, however, enjoy the beautiful fall day, which inspired me to take photos of my November decorations.

The lovely thing about handmade crafts is that you can bring them out year after year. This is the harvest banner I made last year, along with the little paper pumpkins, which are so easy to make.  Just cut out circles, cut one side flat, fold in half and glue. I used six circles, but you could use more for fuller pumpkins. The banner was a cinch with the Rosette die cut and the Autumn Accents leaves.

I use my Big Shot all the time, making the investment really seem worth it to me. Whether a birthday, first communion, or holiday, banners just make the event more festive. With my big Shot,  they are so quick and easy.

Before my Big Shot, I spent a great deal of time tracing patterns and cutting things out for my cards, but with the Big Shot, gorgeous leaves, snowflakes, acorns, letters, and so much more are just a roll throughout the machine away. I love that!
