A Baby Card For Freshly Made Sketches

Baby Card For FMS

Have you been over to Freshly Made Sketches lately? Tuesday I woke up to find I had been selected as one of their “Perfect Princesses” and I could not have been more thrilled! I just love all of the beautiful ideas the designers have each week, not to mention the new sketch challenge. Here is this week’s sketch by Amy:

FMS 168
I especially loved this sketch because I am not very good at placing things at an angle, so it was nice to go outside my comfort zone. I ended up loving how the dsp looks at an angle. I will be using this style again!

One thing I find interesting is that I thought of placing the hearts going across the card and created it yesterday before seeing a gorgeous card on the challenge today that uses the same idea, but going the other direction. Can you spot which one I’m referring to? That has happened to me more than once. In fact, once I created a card that was so similar to another card someone else created (without seeing their card first) that I decided not to enter it in the challenge. Hopefully this one is different enough to still enter!

I hope your day is filled with love and joy and definitely some time for crafting!

Happy stampin’ friends!

  1. Cute card Michelle. I love the colors . I love the way you stamped the hearts on the card base, but continued it on the top layer with the word baby. Very nice card. I may have to use this for my new grandbaby coming in May.

  2. You are welcome!! What did I ever do to deserve such a wonderful, beautiful, creative (I could go on & on!) daughter as you?!?! The Lord truly blessed me when he entrusted you to me!

  3. This is a fabulous card! The colors are so soft and pretty and I just love the die cut “baby”. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
