I love to decorate for Valentine’s Day. I suppose it comes from my 18 years as a teacher. Little boxes, decorated with hearts and all the red and pink just make me happy.
But what makes me even more happy is fast, easy, affordable decorating. I’m the kind of gal who drools over a Pottery Barn catalog and then goes and finds the same look for way less.
Today’s idea was incredibly inexpensive. I already had the hurricanes and candles, which I picked up last summer for a song at a discount store. I wanted to add red to my kitchen because I missed it after all the Christmas decor was gone, so I thought of this, red cherry heart candies! I love how bright it makes my kitchen, and best of all they were on sale!
Someone else around here has the Valentine’s Day bug, too:
Can there be any sweeter message?
Happy stampin’ friends!
Michelle

I do, too Aunt Ruth. I miss you! Thanks for the lovely comment!
How creative!!! & beautiful!!! & you are right…there is no sweeter message!
I’m so glad you like it, thank you!
Very pretty and easy….and you are not going to be tempted to eat the candy, because it would ruin your decor.
So true- now if it were chocolate, it wouldn’t stand a chance! (I suppose that’s why I don’t decorate with chocolate.)
