This banner was so fun and easy to make with wooden letters and Stacked with Love designer series paper.
First, I traced the letters onto the paper, carefully cut them out and set them aside. Next, I painted the letters a matching shade of soft red. After they dried, I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the letters, smoothing out any bubbles. I wanted sparkle, so I added a layer of Mod Podge on top of the paper and to the edges and sprinkled the whole thing with Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Here is a close up, although I could not capture the way it sparkles:
This photo captures the sparkle better:
After the letters were dry, I hot glued them to Kraft Cardstock banner pieces. Lastly, I punched holes and threaded them with Pink Chevron Ribbon.
Here it is hanging in my kitchen:

Hi Michelle. Very cute Valentine’s day project. Looks like I might be running out to the craft store tomorrow for some wooden letters. What size letters did you use? They look like they might be 6 inch to me. Anyway, I think I would have everything I need to do this except for the letters. I think it will make a good Valentine’s day gift for my DIL who will be having that baby girl. She could even hang it up in the baby’s nursery.
This would make a lovely gift for your DIL and be perfect for the baby’s nursery! I measured the letters, and they are 5 inches tall and 1/4 of an inch thick. Let me know if I left out anything else. Happy crafting!
This is a wonderful project!! Thanks for sharing! I love it!
