Playing with Color

Paper Players #235 Close Up Stampin365

I was so excited when I saw the lovely color challenge over at The Paper Players this week. Aren’t those colors gorgeous for spring?

Paper Players Color Challenge #235

These colors make me happy and I owe a huge thank you to The Paper Players, because I don’t think I’ve ever used them together.

Before I stamped the flowers, I inked them up in So Saffron and then added Crisp Cantaloupe to the edges with a sponge dauber. After I stamped the image, I used the end of a skinny paint brush handle to add the color to the center of each bloom.

There’s still time to play along with this color challenge- be sure to go check out The Paper Players and all of their beautiful inspiration!

Happy stampin’ friends!

  1. Lovely card, Michelle! Great idea to pair this stamp set with our colors. Genius idea to use the end of a paint brush for the flower centers! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  2. Michelle, this card is so pretty! What a perfect image for this color combo and I love the row of dots across the bottom. Thanks for playing along with us this week at The Paper Players!
