I was so excited when I saw the lovely color challenge over at The Paper Players this week. Aren’t those colors gorgeous for spring?
These colors make me happy and I owe a huge thank you to The Paper Players, because I don’t think I’ve ever used them together.
Before I stamped the flowers, I inked them up in So Saffron and then added Crisp Cantaloupe to the edges with a sponge dauber. After I stamped the image, I used the end of a skinny paint brush handle to add the color to the center of each bloom.
There’s still time to play along with this color challenge- be sure to go check out The Paper Players and all of their beautiful inspiration!
Happy stampin’ friends!
Michelle
Lovely card, Michelle! Great idea to pair this stamp set with our colors. Genius idea to use the end of a paint brush for the flower centers! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
Wow- thank you Nance! I am a big fan of the Paper Players and that mean so much to me!
Michelle, your cards are so pretty. Wish I had more time to be crafty. Until then, I will pin. Hope you are doing well.
