A CASED Card- Crazy About You!

Hello Sunshine Card

Awhile back, I found a beautiful card on Pinterest by Elizabeth Price and I decided to CASE it. (If you haven’t heard the term, is stands for Copy and Share Everything.) You can find her beautiful card here.

This technique is called watercolor wicking. The flowers were stamped on watercolor paper and then spritzed with water, which wicks the ink and gives a soft effect.

The stamp set, called Crazy About You, is so versatile and I have found myself reaching for it again and again. My April Stamp of the Month Club, which will mail out on April 1st includes this set.

  1. Beautiful card, Michelle. I love the soft colors. Purple and yellow have always been a favorite color combo for me. Looking forward to receiving this stamp set. I’ve loved all your stamp set choices so far.

  2. I love the colors you used on your card. Thank you for sharing. You have inspired me with this stamp set. I did not think it was that great when I saw it, but you have made some really nice cards with this set.

  3. I LOVE this method of stamping and using a spritz of water to make the colours wick and ‘bleed out’ so that they can blend and soften. I can clearly see why you fell in love with the card made by Elizabeth Price. It’s so incredibly beautiful.

However …. if your card were among a selection of other folks cards who had been using this technique to make a card, I could have picked yours out from the whole bundle! It’s SO you, Michelle. It’s delicate, fresh, open and has such a warm glow about it. Just like you yourself.

A truly delightful card Michelle. Well done, you amazing, crafty thing!
Sending love and hugs ~ Cobs. x
