Many years ago, I was an avid quilter. I’m not sure when my collection of beautiful fabrics turned into a collection of pretty papers, but once I started paper crafting, I never started another quilt. So today’s card is in memory of my old quilting days, and let me tell you, quilting with paper is much faster and just as fun!
I simply used my one inch square punch to make the squares. One of the squares I cut into quarters on my paper trimmer so I would have four small triangles. You can come up with so many different quilt designs this way.
Once I glued my quilt pattern down, I ran it through my Big Shot with an embossing folder to give it a quilted look. So easy and so fun!
The designer paper, ribbon and button on this card were all free during Sale-A-Bration.

Michelle, your quilt card is just beautiful! Thank you for sharing this great Idea. I love the colors too. I am amazed how the triangle pieces fit so well you do not see the seam. What a nice pattern. I would love to try this, not sure what sentiment I would use on it though? LOL.
Thank you, Debbie, that means a lot to me. I was torn as to a sentiment- that’s why I left one off. LOL. But I think anything could go- it could be for a Birthday, Mother’s Day or even a Thank You card. Sometimes it’s nice to have multipurpose cards on hand.
A lovey card, Michelle. Very special.
Thank you so much!
