Happy Monday friends!
I’m so happy to announce that I welcomed a new team member in March. Her name is Emmy Greatwood and I am so excited! You can find her brand new blog here.
I always like to give a little welcome gift to my new team members. For Emmy, I gave one of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets along with four blank notecards and envelopes.
Of course I needed a pretty tag! For the flower, I used Crisp Cantaloupe and the blossom punch. The center was made with Soft Suede and fringe scissors. The little welcome sentiment is from a hostess set called Life’s Adventure.
When making paper flowers, I developed a really easy way to remove a petal and make the flower 3D. You can see my step by step tutorial here. It reminds me of a hibiscus flower. What do you think?

Looks like I forgot to comment on this! It is so pretty! I just love what you can do with pretty paper….making it into pretty flowers!
It’s a very rewarding pastime!
Lovely flower Michelle. Love the colour you have chosen.
Thank you. That color is one I gravitate towards.
