Happy Scenes for Halloween

Happy Scenes for Halloween Stampin365

The new Happy Scenes stamp set by Stampin’ Up! (available as a bundle with the Hearth and Home dies) is incredibly versatile.

For this card, I set out to make a non traditional Halloween card with an out of the box color scheme, so instead of reaching for orange and purple, I used Sahara Sand, Pool Party and Pear Pizazz. I added a 3D pumpkin in white and pennants cut from burlap ribbon.

    • Thank you, Cheryl, it was so fun to make the little banner! For the pool party background I used an aqua painter and pool party stamp pad. I just squished some ink into the lid and painted it onto whisper white cardstock- so quick and easy!

  1. Very cute Halloween card. I like the not so spooky and scary ones. You could remove the spider web and change the sentiment and have a nice autumn or Thanksgiving card.

  2. Oh my Michelle. I had myself convinced that I didn’t need this bundle. Then you post this amazing card today. I normally buy white and those funny green pumpkins. So you had me with your chosen color scheme. Just in case you haven’t figured out love your card!
