The new Happy Scenes stamp set by Stampin’ Up! (available as a bundle with the Hearth and Home dies) is incredibly versatile.
For this card, I set out to make a non traditional Halloween card with an out of the box color scheme, so instead of reaching for orange and purple, I used Sahara Sand, Pool Party and Pear Pizazz. I added a 3D pumpkin in white and pennants cut from burlap ribbon.
So, what do you think? Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know!
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope your day is filled with much joy and happiness.
Happy stampin’ friends!
Michelle

How pretty! I love the colors you have used. Good stamp set too!
I’m so glad you like it, thank you, Sarah!
Oh! I can’t stand it!! That banner is the cutest thing ever!!! How did you do the pool party background?
Thank you, Cheryl, it was so fun to make the little banner! For the pool party background I used an aqua painter and pool party stamp pad. I just squished some ink into the lid and painted it onto whisper white cardstock- so quick and easy!
Lovely card, Michelle! Different from the others I’ve been seeing!
Thank you, Linda, that’s what I was hoping for!
Very very clever & oh so cute! I love it!
That means so much to me, thanks!
Very cute Halloween card. I like the not so spooky and scary ones. You could remove the spider web and change the sentiment and have a nice autumn or Thanksgiving card.
I was thinking that, too, Sandy. Perfect for all the who don’t celebrate Halloween.
Oh my Michelle. I had myself convinced that I didn’t need this bundle. Then you post this amazing card today. I normally buy white and those funny green pumpkins. So you had me with your chosen color scheme. Just in case you haven’t figured out love your card!
Rosemarie, thank you so much! I just love white pumpkins together with the soft green ones. I first saw Martha Stewart decorate with those and I was hooked!
