Hello friends and welcome to another Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop!
For today’s project we had the fun of creating with the new Affectionately Yours product suite by Stampin’ Up! This suite includes rich colors, beautiful stamps, coordinating washi tape and the beautiful new copper embossing powder. Be still my heart!
Stampin’ Up! embossing powder is a dream to work with. I used it to change gold foil doilies to copper. Simply press the doily, foil side down, into your versa mark pad. Sprinkle with embossing powder and heat set. I love the way is gleams.
Another fun discovery I had while playing with this beautiful suite was that washi tape is perfect for decorating those little golf pencils. So easy and so cute: I doubt I will ever use a plain pencil again!
I decorated a little notepad and used the fabulous new Cucumber Crush Thick Baker’s Twine to attach one of the washi tape pencils.
The paper in this suite is so very pretty. I fussy cut one of the little flower clusters, stamped a few sprigs in the copper embossing powder and added some washi tape and thick baker’s twine for a clean and simple card.
School isn’t out here for a few more weeks, so I envisioned this little set as the perfect thank you gift for a very special teacher. The little container in the middle perfectly holds Hershey’s Nuggets, one in each side.
This set would also make a lovely hostess gift.
So, what do you think? Are you completely smitten with the new Affectionately Yours Suite by Stampin’ Up!? Do you feel inspired to create some gorgeous projects of your own? Leave a comment and let me know- hearing from you always makes my day!
Now it’s time to go visit the lovely and talented Rachel in France. It’s always so much fun to see what she has created!
Happy hoppin’ friends!
Michelle
