September Stamp of the Month Club and a Plea for Prayer

Designer Tin of Cards 2

Hello freinds, how are you? I’m a mess. A big, fat, ugly mess.

My 19 year old son, Thomas, who has cerebral palsy, is in the hospital with no diagnosis. It will be two weeks tomorrow since he went to the ER. He has had delirium, fever, and severe agony. They have run every test imaginable, all have been normal. It is literally the hardest thing I have ever witnessed.

On top of that, our seven year old had scheduled open heart surgery August 5th. She did very well and is recovering like a little champ. Her surgeon did not want to wait and, in fact, said she could have had a heart attack, but now her heart will be healthy and strong. She will even be able to do sports when she recovers- which is such good news.

If you follow my blog, you will also know that our three year old son had surgery on July 19th and was not allowed off the couch for two weeks while he recovered. His surgery was successful and he is doing great.

But, as they say, the show must go on, so here is our September Stamp of the Month Club.

Designer Tin of Cards

September will feature the Designer Tin of Cards stamp set, which has some really great sentiments to add to your collection. If you are like me, you can always use more sayings to choose from when making your cards. If you are a club member and already have this set, no problem! Just email me at and let me know which set you would like to substitute with. (up to $26)

Because I am at the hospital with my son, I can not take any new member this month, I am so sorry. I will however, still send out the invoices on the 15th of August and get the kits in the mail to our current club members the first week of September.

If you would, please say a prayer for my incredible boy. Watching him suffer is the hardest thing I have ever had to do.

  1. Michelle, I am so sorry for what your son and you are going through. I didn’t know
Your oldest son was in the hospital and you going through the surgery with your daughter and the little guy as well. This has to be so hard for you. I know it was for me when our 18 yr old was misdiagnosed with celiacs when he had chrones. It was a long year of him being in and out of the hospital and after he had lost well over a 100 lbs. we said enough is enough. We asked for a referal to U of M hospital and to make a long story short, they gave us the correct diagnosis and after surgery to remove about four feet of bowel, he recovered very quickly. Do you have a big medical center near you like that, that you could get a referal to. Maybe after 2 weeks its time for a second opinion. I’m glad your daughter and little guy are doing so well, and I will certainly remember all of you in my prayers. I wish I lived closer so I could help in some way. God bless you and your family and please let me know how things are going. Sandy S.
