Home For Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays friends!

Are you ready for a fun project and some very happy news? First for the project, is this Christmas tag. Every month, I design and create tags for my Stamp of the Month Club members to show how much I appreciate them. Adding a handmade touch makes such a difference. And now, for the happy news: my son is finally home from the hospital!

He still has a long, hard road to recovery, but it is so wonderful to have him home. For those of you who may not have heard, he became seriously ill on August 1st. He ended up having 8 surgeries and multiple complications, including three different serious infections. More than once, we feared he would not recover. The doctors do not believe he will ever be the same, but we have faith that he will eventually get back to his old self. Regardless, we are so thankful to have him home.

So many of you have reached to show support during this long, difficult time in my life. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! You are the reason I keep this blog and sharing my projects with you is such a joy. Thank you all for taking time to comment, email, send cards and for your love, prayers and support. It has made all the difference in the world.

I have so many fun plans for 2017 and I look forward to sharing them with you.

Happy New Year friends!

  3. Hi Michelle! What happy happy news your son is home. GOD is good. Your family are fighters and survivors. God Bless his determination. I actually was going through my emails; trying to delete some and came across the last email about your son. I thought I needed to write and see how it was going and viola here is your new email. My heart skipped a few beats with Joy. It was a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR YOU ALL. You take care of yourself and a big hug to your son for being such a trooper and never giving up❤. 4. The tag is absolutely darling – the jingle bells are the perfect touch! And oh how relieved I am that your son is home!! I admire your strength and courage – I pray that your son proves those doctors wrong:-). The doctors told my parents that my CP brother would only live 10-12 years …he lived 52 wonderful years! I’ll continue to pray for his comfort and strength. Hugs!!

  5. What a wonderful Christmas present for your family. Continued prayes that his recover will surprise those doctors. I sincerely believe in the healing power of prayer. May 2017 bless all of you.♡

  6. So very wonderful to hear your son is home. I think of him often. He fell ill on my son’s 22nd birthday and I worried that he would spend the entire holiday season at the hospital. So happy for you. Love him back to health as I know you will.

  7. I have prayed for your son and I will continue – thank you for the good news that he is home!
