Count My Blessings

When the Stampin’ Up Holiday catalog first arrived, my heart did a little flip flop for the Count My Blessings stamp set.

The images are simply gorgeous. To make them easier to watercolor, I embossed them in gold. The gold was hard to capture on camera, but here you can see it better. Embossing also makes them easier to fussy cut.

To watercolor the acorn, I used ink squished into the lid of my stamp pad and an aqua painter. I also did a watercolor wash on the cardstock behind the fancy foil.

Our October Stamp of the Month Club members will receive the supplies to make this card along with three others.

Speaking of blessings at the top of my list, the Stamp of the Month Club continues to grow and I’m so thankful for all of our lovely members. Thank you all!

  2. You changed your profile picture, Michelle, wow. Looking good. The card is very nice as well, lol. No, I love the card. I’m waiting on pins & needles, sort of. This is one of the sets I just ordered with my workshop. Yes I earned the new promo set. Yay!! Can’t wait til my order gets here. I know I have to. Thanks for the advice, I decided to get both silicone & piercing mats. I will need the silicone to help me when I use the builder punches.

    • Yay! So happy you got this set with your workshop- you will love it! You are also going to be so happy you got both the silicone mat and the piercing mat. The silicone mat is just what you need for your builder punches and the piercing mat is perfect for your photopolymer stamps. So excited for you!
