Hello everybody! Today, I am thrilled to share an amazing bundle available from the current Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog. The Botanical Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies combine for countless gorgeous options. Just look at all of these amazing stamps and dies!

At first glance, this bundle may seem strictly tropical, like a luscious Hawaiian vacation. But in reality, it has so may other possibilities! Here are a few projects I created to show how this bundle could be used in other ways.

Botanical Blooms 4

For the first project, I created a winter themed Project Life page. The large flower center from my tropical card doubles here as beautiful snowflakes cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. The sentiment is from the Picture Perfect stamp set.

Next, I created feathers using the tropical leaf die on Typeset Designer Series Paper. I cut the edges with my paper snips and added Gold Wink of Stella for shimmer. This card has a more masculine feel, although you could probably give it to anyone on your list.

After that, I created a notecard using the tropical flower as a butterfly. (I’ll show you how easy it is at the end of this post!) Clear Wink of Stella gives the edges shimmer.

Botanical Blooms 7

I had so much fun with this bundle, I just couldn’t stop! I wanted to show the many possibilities, so I created two more cards using the layout from my tropical card.

The pink card uses one of the smaller blooms and the little leaves were snipped off of the end of the fern die. This card would be perfect for a baby gift or a feminine birthday card.

For the butterfly card below, I cut the flower out of Typeset Designer Series Paper. I purposely left sentiments off because none come with the set, but you could add just about any sentiment.

Botanical blooms 8

It’s so quick and easy to turn the flower into a butterfly. I simply used my paper snips to remove one petal.

Botanical Blooms 9

I cut each side to make a v and viola! A beautiful butterfly instead of a flower!

Botanical Blooms 10

I added Clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer and gold metallic thread for antennae.

So whether you’d like to create vibrant tropical flowers or a sparkly winter wonderland, a masculine feeling notecard or a sweet welcome for a new baby girl, you can see the Botanical Blooms Photopolymer Bundle is incredibly versatile. In fact, the possibilities keep on going from there. I just know you’ll enjoy it as much as I have!

Happy stampin’ friends!

Taking the Fuss Out Of Memory Keeping: Project Life

Project Life 2

I have a confession to make. Memory keeping is very important to me, but since we adopted our two year old last May, I am waaaay behind. Way, way behind. As in, most of our photos aren’t even printed and I have to find them on my phone if I want to show them to people or look at them myself. Sad, right?

But that’s where Project Life comes to my rescue.

I mean, we’re talking a true super hero here, friends.

Today was a prefect example. Last May, my son Thomas went to prom with my best friend’s daughter. (Just as friends, he reminded me.) I found the envelope of pictures in the cupboard, got out my Project Life album and had this page done in a matter of minutes this morning. While I took care of the kids, sorted the laundry and let the plumber in.

No joke.

That’s just a half an hour out of my day today.

And now, the memories are preserved the way they should be.

Project Life

Events this important should not be still hiding in the envelope, so I am very thankful for Project Life and how easy it is to create beautiful pages so quickly.

If you’ve never tried Project Life, you really should. And right now, during Sale-A-Bration, the Memories In The Making Project Life Specialty Card Collection, which I used here, is free with a $50 order.

So, for example, you could order the items below and receive the Specialty Card Collection (shown at the bottom) free!

I can’t think of a better way to preserve your precious memories!

Happy stampin’ friends!
