A Difficult Decision

Hi friends! How are you today? I have some big, yet difficult news to share with you.

I have made the decision to quit my Stampin’ Up! business. Our large family needs me and as my wonderful team and business has grown, I have found that the time I am spending on my business takes too much time away from them. I have also found that I am unable to do all the things I want to do for my team and customers. You are all wonderful and I will miss you very much, but I am looking forward to devoting my time to my family.

My blog will not be going away, I still plan to post my creations, but my online store will no longer be available. If you would like a reference for a new demonstrator, please email me at stampin365@gmail.com and I will be happy to give you some suggestions. If you are in the Stamp of the Month Club, I will be emailing you in the next few days with specific details regarding your membership and the discontinuation of the Club.

I have loved my time as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and I have especially loved all of you. Thank you to my team members and everyone who has taken time to comment, ordered, been a part of the Stamp of the Month Club, and supported me. It has meant the world to me!

This is not really goodbye. I will still be a Stampin’ Up! customer and share my designs with you. I hope you continue to share in the joy with me! Thank you again for your support.

Happy stampin’ friends!

Count My Blessings Tags

Hi friends, how are you? My blog has been pretty quiet lately, but I’ve been really busy crating! Our Stamp of the Month Club just keeps getting bigger and I absolutely love and appreciate all of our members.

Each month I design and create a tag for each of them as a little way to show my appreciation. These Count My Blessing tags were so much fun to make.

I embossed the leaves in gold and them used my aqua painter to watercolor them.

The ribbon was a leftover freebie that I had in my stash. It’s always nice to use ribbon up on my customers, rather than hoarding it all to myself!

Here they are, all piled up and ready to mail!

I’m currently working on the November Stamp of the mOnth Club, which should get mailed by the 20th this month, if all goes as planned! I’m also designing the December Stamp of the month Club and I’m excited about the two cards I have so far. Stay turned for the big reveal!

Christmas Tag Class

Recently, I was thrilled to be asked to donate a Christmas Tag Class to a local auction. Talk about a fun class to design. I was like a little kid in a candy store!

The new Holiday Catalog was not yet available to order from, so I designed this class with some of the AMAZING Christmas items in the Annual Catalog.

Each guest will create 20 gift tags that will be presented in this adorable plastic mason jar from www.thesugardiva.com. I’m crazy for that ribbon and those tiny boxwood wreaths! They literally made me squeal the first time I saw them.

And this reindeer? Too cute!

Don’t you just love the shape of the pretty label punch? Gorgeous!

To display the tags, I placed a piece of DSP, scored into a triangle, in the center of the jar and taped the linen thread ties to the inside of the triangle. (I got that idea from a jar of tags I bought at Target last year. Brilliant!)

The DSP insert really helps all the tags to show nicely and this project would be perfect for gift giving.

There are five tag designs all together and class members will create four of each.

In the excitement of the new Holiday Catalog, don’t forget that Stampin’ Up! has a large collection of gorgeous Christmas designs to choose from in the Annual Catalog.

Maybe some of these sets are already in your own collection. Which one is your favorite? (Complete supply list below.)

Lemon Zest Tags

Hello friends! How are you today?

One of my favorite things to create is tags. Each month I create a tag to coordinate with our Stamp of the Month Club. For our August Club, I was inspired by a gorgeous stair case in an Italian restaurant. Just lookout at these hand painted tiles!

With this photo as my inspiration and the beautiful Lemon Zest stamp set, I designed these cards for our club members:

Once the club boxes were put together, I set to work designing a gift tag as a small token of appreciation to our club members. The Lemon Zest stamp set by Stampin’ Up! makes creating fun designs a cinch!

Don’t they look pretty, all piled up and ready to mail out?

As I write this blog post, my state is under a thick blanket of smoke and our city has an advisory that the smoke is so heavy, we should stay indoors. The health hazard is so high, many school have canceled the first day tomorrow.

As we struggle to deal with the smoke, and many residents are forced to flee their homes, I am also reminded of all the dear people affected by hurricanes and flooding. There is so much devastation right now! If you are affected by any of the devastation, please know I hold you in my heart and prayers!

With much love,

Lots of Love Tags

Hi friends, how are you today?

Here are some tags I made this month for our Stamp of the Month Club members. It’s so much fun to design a tag each month. These took a little longer because of all the fussy cutting, but those layered flowers were worth it, don’t you think?

And that shimmer ribbon- isn’t it so pretty?

Thank You Tags With Swirly Scribbles

Hi friends! How are you today?

Here is a recent gift tag I created for our June Stamp of the Month Club members. The versatility of the Swirly Scribbles dies is wonderful. I got the idea for this lollipop from Michele Reynolds when I did a google search. You can see her beautiful card, which inspired me to create these tags here.

Creating a tag for each of our club members is something I look forward to every month. It’s one way I can show my appreciation and hopefully brighten their day!

Don’t they look pretty, all lined up and ready to mail out? Happy mail is my specialty!

Would you like a chance to receive your own happy mail, complete with a handmade gift tag? Scroll down to the next post to see July’s Stamp of the month Club then read abut the Stamp of the Month Club here.

Customer Thank You Gifts

Hi friends! how are you today?

Here’s a recent little thank you gift I created for my wonderful customers. I included some retired DSP from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog and some retiring ribbon and embellishments.

This paper is one of my favorites and coordinates with the Lift Me Up Bundle, which is also retiring. (Both the dies and stamps will still be available, just not as a money saving bundle.)

These were so fun to make and the layout could easily be used on a card. Don’t they look pretty all piled up, ready to show my appreciation to my fabulous customers?

One of my all time favorite products that is retiring is the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack. The diagonal striped Mint Macaron was perfect for this project.

The Scalloped Tag Topper Punch is great for creating pretty ribbon holders. Thankfully, it is not retiring!

Stampin’ Supplies: (Be sure to check out these retiring products out before they’re gone!)

In the United States and need to order?

Favorite Stampin’ Up! Retiring Products

Hi friends! How are you today?

Have you had a chance to see all the amazing products from Stampin’ Up! that will be gone soon? Some of my all time favorites are on the list, so I’ve decided to share some previous projects to highlight retiring items before they’re gone for good!

And what’s even better, many of these items are on sale! Whoot whoot!

The tag above features a few of my favorites from the Affectionately Yours Suite, including the gorgeous Designer Series Paper (141632) and the Washi Tape (141635). The green leaves are also from the Affectionately Yours paper and the Botanical Blooms die set.

In case you are not convinced you need the Affectionately paper and washi tape, here is another project that uses them:

And another:

Happy stampin’ friends!

My son continues to recover from autoimmune encephalitis at home. He has long bouts of being unable to swallow or talk, mixed with altered mental status and muscle tremors, which are very very hard, but today is a good day. He ate some eggs and has been talking. We also celebrate the fact that his symptoms are not severe enough to put him back in the hospital.

Last week, on one of his best days yet, he said to me, “I sure am happy to still be alive!”

To all who have supported us during this very severe, drawn out illness of his, thank you! Your kind words, prayers and support have truly been an anchor in the storm and I appreciate you so much!

A Gift Tag With Suite Sentiments

Hi friends, how are you today?

Here is a recent project I created for our Stamp of the Month Club members with the April stamp set, Suite Sentiments.

Each month, I design a special tag to show our club members how must I appreciate them. It’s one of my favorite parts of my job. This tag features some really great retiring items, so be sure to pick them up before they sell out!

Stampin’ Tips:

~These went together quickly with a stapler instead of glue.

~The trim was cut from the Very Vanilla Lace Trim, I just cut the edge off and used that.

~The butterfly looks so pretty cut from the cloud pattern in the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP Stack.

~Many of these items are retiring, so pick them up while you still can!
