February Stamp of the Month Club~ Blooms and Wishes

Hello friends! How are you today?

The stamp of the Month Club is finally back! A huge thank you to all of our club members for being so understanding and gracious as I took time to care for my son these past couple months. Your support, thoughts, and prayers have truly meant so much and helped to get me through some very dark days. Now our days are full of hope and he continues to recover, which means…

I have time and energy to make stuff- yay! February’s club features the beautiful Blooms and Wishes stamp set:

Have you heard about the Stamp of the Month Club here at Stampin’ 365? Each month, club members receive a fabulous Stampin’ Up! stamp set and all the paper supplies to create four exclusive cards with envelopes for just $34.95. Everything is pre-cut, neatly packaged and comes with typed directions and a color photocopy of the cards. Club members just add ink and adhesive. (I even include a handmade gift tag, created to match, just for you from thankful me!)

The beautiful watercolor florals look great in the colors below, or club members can use the colors of their choice. After stamping the images on watercolor paper, I used my aqua painter to pull the color out. This fun watercolor technique is completely optional. The images look gorgeous with or without this technique.

Would you like more information about the Stamp of the Month Club? Click here.

In the club and already have the set? No problem! Simply email me with the substitution of your choice. (Up to $26) by February 1st.

Fun With Tassels~Artisan Blog Hop

Hello friends, and welcome to another Artisan Design team blog hop! We are 20 designers from around the world who just love sharing ideas for some of the incredible things you can make using Stampin’ up! products. For this week, I am sharing an alternative idea for the adorable red tassels fro the Tin of Tags Project Kit.

Recently, I found this gorgeous, fluffy pom pom wreath at the fabric store and I immediately knew it needed to be decked out in Stampin’ Up! I got out my Large Letter and Banners Dies, some red glimmer paper, the new Fancy Frost Specialty paper, and the red tassels and got to work. In no time at all, I had a fun banner to decorate the wreath with.

The final result makes me ready for Christmas to hurry up and get here!

If you celebrate Christmas, have you started making things yet? If so, leave me a comment. I would love to hear about what you have been making!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Just before me on the hop was my friend Marisa and now it’s time to go see what my friend Rachel in France has created for us.

September Stamp of the Month Club and a Plea for Prayer

Designer Tin of Cards 2 stampin365.com

Hello freinds, how are you? I’m a mess. A big, fat, ugly mess.

My 19 year old son, Thomas, who has cerebral palsy, is in the hospital with no diagnosis. It will be two weeks tomorrow since he went to the ER. He has had delirium, fever, and severe agony. They have run every test imaginable, all have been normal. It is literally the hardest thing I have ever witnessed.

On top of that, our seven year old had scheduled open heart surgery August 5th. She did very well and is recovering like a little champ. Her surgeon did not want to wait and, in fact, said she could have had a heart attack, but now her heart will be healthy and strong. She will even be able to do sports when she recovers- which is such good news.

If you follow my blog, you will also know that our three year old son had surgery on July 19th and was not allowed off the couch for two weeks while he recovered. His surgery was successful and he is doing great.

But, as they say, the show must go on, so here is our September Stamp of the Month Club.

Designer Tin of Cards stampin365.com

September will feature the Designer Tin of Cards stamp set, which has some really great sentiments to add to your collection. If you are like me, you can always use more sayings to choose from when making your cards. If you are a club member and already have this set, no problem! Just email me at stampin365@gmail.com and let me know which set you would like to substitute with. (up to $26)

Because I am at the hospital with my son, I can not take any new member this month, I am so sorry. I will however, still send out the invoices on the 15th of August and get the kits in the mail to our current club members the first week of September.

If you would, please say a prayer for my incredible boy. Watching him suffer is the hardest thing I have ever had to do.

A Sweet Cupcake Welcome

Sweet Cupcake Card Close Up Stampin365.com

Hi friends, how are you today?

Here’s a square card I created for one of my new team members. I welcomed Robin and Sandy to my team, 365 Stampers, in June and I had so much fun putting together welcome gifts using this set. So glad to have you on the team, ladies!

Sweet Cupcake Card Stampin365.com

The Sweet Cupcake Photopolymer Bundle is very fun to play with. The stamps are numbered and see through for easy layering and the dies are just so cute.

It’s always fun to add a special touch to the inside of your card, too.

Stampin’ Tips:

The Sweet Cupcake layers are numbered on the stamp set- so helpful!

The Precision Base Plate makes cutting delicate or detailed dies so easy!

After cutting out your dies, the Big Shot Die Brush is a must.

The Layering Squares Framelits Dies are perfect for framing the cupcake.

A Few New Favorites~ Artisan Blog Hop

Touches of Texture 3 stampin365.com

Hello, friends, and welcome to another Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop!

This week is our “open” project and it was so much fun to dig in to some of my favorite new Stampin’ Up! products. My starting point was the flower center from the versatile and pretty Touches of Texture Stamp Set.

I stamped it in the new Flirty Flamingo on Shimmery White cardstock. Then, with my aqua painter, I pulled the color out to make petals. I also added Peekaboo Peach with my aqua painter.

After the flower dried, I turned to the gorgeous new Moroccan Designer Series paper and picked the Delightful Dijon pattern to go with it. With it’s beautiful colors and geometric patterns, this dsp is some of my favorite ever.

Another new favorite is the Flourishing Phrases Bundle. It comes with 18 stamps and 10 dies, the font is lovely and the sentiments cover a variety of needs. It is truly a must have!

Copper and White~ Artisan Blog Hop

Love and Affection 3 stampin365.com

Hello friends, and welcome to another Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop!

Have you had a chance to see the new Affectionatley Yours product suite by Stampin’ Up!? It’s on pages 44 and 45 in the new catalog, and it is so pretty!

For this project, I created a piece of wall art with the Floral Affection embossing folder, the Love and Affection stamp set and copper embossing powder. I just love how the copper catches the light.

Love and Affection 2 stampin365.com

The stamp set matches the embossing folder perfectly, so you can stamp you embossed flowers, and the little sprigs of leaves add the perfect touch. I kept this piece very clean and simple by using only shimmery white cardstock and copper.
